Roxum into the Semi Final of the Original Bands Showcase! Roxum have made it to the Semi Finals of the Original Bands Showcase, Leicester. The first heat was played at The Shed, Leicester and with a good turn out the lads had a great night! The Semi final will be played at The Musician, Leicester on the 27th June 2009. Roxum back into the studio to begin work on an album of tracks! In 2009 the boys have set time aside to get into the studio and start work on an album of tracks. Roxum began work on the tracks in a 10 day session at Northampton's Parlour Recording Studio where they recording 5 tracks including two brand new tracks, My Money's on the Bear and Body for a Bullet, which are available to listen to on their MySpace. |

Aikon decide to rename to... Roxum! Yes, it's official! Aikon are no more and the new name will now be Roxum due to legal reasons. Where did Roxum come from you may ask? Well this has been left to the imagination for now but make sure you let the boys know what you think about the new name on their MySpace and Facebook pages! You may be seeing alot of it soon! |
